\_ FWIW, a pimp will typically pay you ~$20-$50/hour,
\_ and bill you out at ~$60-$120/hour.

I've heard that some charge a flat percentage rate on top of what you
get on the order of 20-30%.  Also, perm placements usually garner the
same percentage range measured against base salary.  So, if you're
making $50k, that's a nice $10k spike to the recruiter/recruiter's
companies bottom line.

And then you go and wonder why they only pay you $500 for referals.
