I've seen hp "workgroup" servers (4msii ??? (4 years ago)) have native
PS mode + nic + buckets of memory. Dunno about dualsided, nor
controlling dual siding from linux tho.
Native ps is good since everyone can talk ps.... :-)
\_ Our old IBM/lexmark just went south on us. I am in the
\_ market for a new printer. Here are the qual's I must meet:
\_
\_ 1. Easy to install (Linux Supported)
\_ 2. Print double sides
\_ 3. ~20+ ppm
\_
\_ My old printcap file is only 4-5 lines long
\_ which uses magicfilter (running on an OLD debian box);
\_ I would prefer to not have to jump thru too
\_ many firey hoops to get this new one going. I am
\_ not a big printer fan (why not read it off your
\_ monitor?).
\_
\_ Anybody have any recommendations?
\_
