stand-alone routers vs. IPMASQ

I like the way you think. I do think that I am giving up much more control
by going to the Linksys router. It is able to port forwarding and even allow
onemachine in the DMZ. The latest version of software also allows one
protocol for VPN. Seems pretty capable, just not as infinitely controllable
as the linux masquerade box.

Maybe not the ideal solution.
