There's a fine point here... YOUR ftp client is telling you what the
SERVER *says* it is running.  It may or may not reflect reality.
(Hence the obscure hint at open source hacking in my original
message.)

By the way, did I tell you that I'm writing all this from a VIC-20?  I
am, just check the headers!  They never lie.
