would like to get linux installed on this old laptop that doen't have a bootable cd-rom. is it possible to do the install from a zip or something else? this thing can only run the floppy or cd at one time. ie, have to swap them on this thing. yes it has a network card. but have never done a network install either. have tried but no success. still learning here. anyone available to kill windows on a laptop this weekend?
