I have been somewhat successfull with using IPMASQADM portfw to =
portforward PCanywhere data through the firewall to a local address =
(192.168.0.X). Sometimes it works some times it doesn't. I think this =
may be due to the use of portfw on aliased IP's. I have decided to try =
VNC as an alternative and I read that it uses TCP port 5900. I set up a =
portfw to forward data on port 5900 from a public, aliased IP on the =
firewall's public NIC to a system on the local LAN. It does not seem to =
work at all. Anyone have experience with either VNC or PCanywhere =
through a firewall using IPMASQADM portfw? If so, I would like to learn =
about your setup for doing it. Oh yeah, the firewall is multihomed with =
2 NICS, 1 public 1 private. Thanks!!
