Mandrake v7.1 install

Thanks Brian. I wasn't sure about Xfree86 v4 and this confirms it. I have
re-installed using v3.3.6 and everything seemed to work fine.

The Voodoo drives are indeed in the new version, but in your case I
wouldn't
attempt to use the XFree86 4 for a while. It's alot harder to setup and
maintain, and with the voodoo cards its actually alot slower that the other
server. This will of course cange (so they say).
In my case, I have a Gforce card, and its WAAAAY faster to run it under
ver.
4... so I shoe horned it into my mandrake 7 install the day after it was
released.
