Best mouse for linux/W98 dual boot?

Ive got one of those optical MS mice.  I got the $29 version without the
extra buttons. It does have the 2 normal buttons, plus the 3rd button/wheel.
Its been the best mouse that I have ever owned, and I would highly recomend
it.
