3Com 3CBEM556BT  $45 through yahoo...10M nic and 56k modem (modem is xjack)

I'm 90% sure on that model number...give me a few hours until I'm home and I
can dbl check

Linux (with the latest pcmcia package) automagically sets up the nic and the
modem...for the nic part of it, i wrote some nasty shell scripts to tell it
how to get an ip depending on whether i'm at home (static) or at work
(dhcp).
