Running windows program in linux

I have heard of VMWare, and that is why I was trying Bochs.  It costs too much
for VMWare, and the download is crippled until the liscense is obtained.
The game is cool, but I would rather keep a duel-boot until either Bochs or
some other emulator (hopefully a GPL / GNU one) comes into maturity.
