Proxy Server Software

dialpad works just fine through with ipchains on my machine.  I will try to
get the configuration to use dialpad if you would like them.  I have two
dialpad configurations: 1.) works only for one ip address behind firewall
but give best performance 2.) works for any machine behind firewall but you
take the performance hit.

IPCHAINS is pretty much the way to go as far as IPMASQ
goes. However, you might consider SQUID Proxy
server as a good alternate.

IPCHAINS/IPMASQ does have some drawbacks. some services that normally
work through windows (such as dialpad) won't work correctly through
an IPMASQ system. 

so, it really depends on what you want to do..

I currently am running redhat 7 (with modifications) and I am not
running it with the default compiler installed (I updated using the
latest polish(ed) versions from rufus.w3.org).
