smbmount is *not* part of the samba suite...they just put it in there as a
courtesy.

Get the tarball and compile that...a very easy install.

Recently I've installed RH 6.2 on a couple of machines..  Seems like
smbmount is broken... I have to use mount -t smbfs to mount.  Anyone else
been experiencing this?
