Brian, thanks for the replay. I did fix that.
But I still can not get my ftp, www, mail items into the global DNS. Is it correct to use the CNAME option or do I dust need to do add
the following in my domain file:
ftp IN A <IP address>
Will that make it so I can do ftp ftp.thesanders.org.
One more question for you since you know what you are doing. I have done a ping ftp.thesanders.org and I get a reply that is not my
IP address. So I do an nslookup on ftp.thesanders.org and I get:
Non-authoritative answer:
Name: sd2.mailbank.com
Address: 208.49.167.82
Aliases: ftp.thesanders.org, ns1.thesanders.com
That is not my IP address. It appears that someone has been using ftp.thesanders.org as an alias without owning the domain name. When
I get my DNS correct will this be replaced by mine. I did my registration via doster.com.
