Using Palm for email in linux

One of my main criteria for picking WinCE over PalmOS was sound recording.
I am the systems administrator and virtually a one-man MIS department at my
company.
I get barraged with requests all of the time.
I used to try to remember these requests, but after awhile, my living RAM
began to fail.
The WinCE gives me the option of pressing a button and making an audio
"note" for myself that I can play back later.
I can either delete the sound file when I'm done, or use Outlook and create
a Task that shows up on my PalmPC.
I also liked the 65,000 colors verses no color (at the time I purchased my
Compaq Aero 2130).
I also like the additional programs I can add to it.
Right now I have the New Revised Standard Version of the Bible on my CE
device. The compressed Bible (from http://www.laridian.com) is almost 3 MB.
Right now my CD device has 16MB of RAM, so storage space is no problem.
I'm hoping this week to purchase a CompactFlash memory card for it to expand
its capabilities.
Please don't get me wrong, I have nothing against the PalmOS devices. I just
wanted more options.
I can even play MPEG movies on my CE.
I also like the "JOT" handwriting program on the CE better than the
handwriting program on the Palm.
When my wife went on vacation, she took my CE with her. She wanted to play
Solitaire on the plane. I also downloaded Mahjonng for her.
It is much nicer doing such things in color than in monochrome.
