You're assuming that Moonlight couldn't have an easy to install, simple
plugin. I don't think that you'd need the whole Mono stack, but even if
it is much smaller than the .Net one. Heck, Mono runs on the 770.

Wasn't this the goal of DirectX? Is Silverlight basically the .Net
version of DirectX? Well, with a browser plugin.
