Topic: "Production Friendly Project Development" by Google-ers James Nurmi
and Vasilios Hoffman

"A discussion regarding things that developers/software engineers and
sys-admins can do to ensure a successful implementation."

"James Nurmi: A sys-admin for Google since 2004, and previous to that,
Virginia Tech. If intoxicated enough, can be prodded into admitting
being a C++ developer for Microsoft, but has since recovered. As far as
Google, past projects include maintaining our legacy desktop linux
distribution, countless trivial services, and consulting with groups for
service deployment to the enterprise. Currently, he can be found working
remote-office support for M&A, plotting the conquest of Southern France,
speaking at LUG's, and writing a one paragraph bio of himself for said
speaking engagements."

"Vasilios Hoffman: A sys-admin for google since mid-2005, "V" was
previously the lead unix SA at Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT. His
previous merits include developing and running a few university HPC
clusters, desigining and teaching a new university course on the topic of
computational science, and working out of the linux technology center at
IBM for a stint. His current duties include supporting Google's directory
services infrastructure. He also likes long walks by the beach, as long
as the beach has penguins. His plans to conquer Northern France dovetail
nicely with James' ambitions."
