__LINE__ causes seg fault

I am using:
Thread model: posix
gcc version 3.3.3 20040412 (Red Hat Linux 3.3.3-7)

I just downloaded the latest updates from RedHat.
When I use the __LINE__ macro I get a seg fault on execution.

ANY THOUGHTS????
