Topic: Audience choice!
As most of you know, I am as software engineer that spends most of my
development time doing embedded programming. So, I have an interest in using
Linux for embedded environments. I am prepared to give one of two
presentations: "What's new in Linux 2.6?" or "Introduction to uClinux."
Both have an embedded focus but they can be interesting to general Linux
developers too, especially the first one.
I will use slides as already prepared by Free Electrons, a company in France
that specializes in Linux for embedded applications. They offer the two
above presentations along with others and full training materials at
http://free-electrons.com/news/news.2004-09-28/en. I have read through the
two possible presentations and feel confident that I can speak about most of
the content.
So, prepare to choose the topic at the meeting! See you all there!
Wireless and wired Internet access will be available. I'll bring the old IBM
Thinkpad to use as a DHCP server for the wired computers.
