Roles & Responsibilities

POSITION TITLE:  Software Engineer - CAD



PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Development of Memory Compiler code engine, and enhancements of tool GUI.

Tool is delivered to PCG chip design projects for generating small compiled
memories for integration into synthesized units.  Current generation of
tool/memories is on 90nm process.



DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Will develop algorithms, implement and write code, maintain current
codebase, test, debug, and validate tool.  Use of chip design CAD tools is
also part of validation of tool outputs and results.



YEARS OF EXPERIENCE DESIRED:  2+ years



EXPERTISE LEVEL (JR., MID., SR.):  Mid-level



NECESSARY SKILLS (MUST HAVE):

** C/C++

** Perl

** Unix, Linux

** Experience in any chip design CAD tool



ADDITIONAL SKILLS DESIRED:

* Background in electrical or computer engineering, or circuits

* Tk/TCL on Unix

* CASE software development environments
