Just thought I would pass along a neat tip that I have been doing:
I have one of those 256mb USB sticks - BTW they work great in Linux.
Anyway, I formatted it with ext3 and installed a CVS repository on it. Now
I can go to any Linux box, check out my code, work on it, and check it back
in. It is like a portable, roving repository! This works especially good
when you don't have network access. Anyway, just a quick little tip....
Also - Do we need a projector for Thrusday's Adtron meeting. I am planning
on attending with a few of my co-workers, and I can bring one if needed.
We use Eclipse(IBM's WSAD version of it actually) extensively at work and
are looking forward to the presentation.
And if there are a few minutes at the end, I would like to demo the latest
version of a game I have been working on.....if there is any interst. It
is more of a technology demo than a game, but I am using OpenGL, SDL, and
an open-source physics library called ODE.
Alan - Let me know if you need the projector
Thanks!
Bob
