Best distrobution for me?

As you can guess from the respones, you can use ANY distro for game
development. It really makes no difference at all. The editior you use
will run on all distros. The API you use will work on all distros. The
game you build will run on all distros.
Almost all of your time will be spent in your editor working with your
graphics, sound, and input API which will be the same on all distros. In
fact, if you use OpenGL and SDL it can be the same for multiple platforms
e.g. Linux, Windows, Mac...
I have been doing game development and I use RedHat 7.2.
RedHat and Mandrake seem to be the most popular choices. Debian is of
course your "most pure" option. But ANY distro is good for game
development.
Good Luck

"geeky" but is good. I use RedHat on my everyday PC. I have not done game
development so I can't say what is best for that.
