moin, moin,
for those following the unfolding drama know as "PLUG-discuss" you know
we've moved our mailing list to a new box :).
The mailing lists are back up and I just wanted to make sure the news had
reached all the denizens of PLUG-devel.
To throw a devel theme on here....
I'm wanting to automagically key some triggers upon cvs checkin. Does
anybody have any experience with this? If so, what seems the best way to
do it.
It's been a couple of weeks since I was in the guts of this. I believe
there was a problem with using cvswrappers. commitinfo could work, but
requires me to call an external program. I might have to do that in the
end due to the configurability I want.
The idea is to be able to have various types of triggers that can be
called on a per file basis. They have to be non-writable from the client
side. Perms can handle that. Non-readable would also be good. I think I
can also do that with perms.
I'm certain I can do everything outside of cvs, but if they've built it
into cvs and I'm just not understanding how to use it, then I'd like to
extend my understanding and keep everything within cvs :).
ciao,
der.hans
