NEW TEMPORARY LOCATION: Free/Open Source Software Stammtisch on Tues (12/16)

[PLUG Announcements]

*Attention: *
After 5 years of meeting at Iguana Macks, the business has been sold, 
the name has been changed, and the new owners have proved difficult to 
work with compared with the previous owners.  Plus the new private room, 
which they want us to commit to a $300 minimum order in order to make 
reservations, has proved to have so much echo that it's actually noisier 
than just being out in the restaurant, which is also way too noisy.

With all those troubles we have decided to move the Stammtisch.  
Unfortunately the new chosen location that we want is so new that it 
won't be open in time for this month's meeting, so for *this month only* 
we will be having the Stammtisch at the new location's sister restaurant of:

Spokes on Southern**
**1470 E Southern Ave, Tempe, AZ 85282*

After this month, the new location will be open and we will be meeting 
at Boulders on Southern which is conveniently located just off the 60 
near Fiesta Mall.  The new location is already listed in the meetings 
area of the website.

Hope to see you there.  I'm sure the new location, once we start meeting 
there, will be an improvement over what we have been getting over the 
last few months.

idea of what that funny Stammtisch word meant?  Well...

Wikipedia describes a Stammtisch as:
A Stammtisch (German: "regulars table") is an informal group meeting 
held on a regular basis, and also the usually large, often round table 
around which the group meets. A Stammtisch is not a structured meeting, 
but rather a friendly get-together.

*We'll be meeting at Spokes On Southerm at 7pm on Tuesday for PLUG's 
Free/Open Source Software Stammtisch.*

Please come and join us for some good conversation over good food and 
drinks, both of which are optional... Friends and family are all welcome.
Come see where the conversation leads this time, it doesn't just stick 
exclusively with Free Software and Linux.  Us geeks are interested in 
all sorts of things, so the conversation always leads to a good time.

If you have any problems, feel free to bring in your machine and we'll 
see what we can do to fix your problem...
