moin, moin,
the topic of this month's meetings will be 'Alternative Contributions'.
Generally, when thinking about contributing to Free Software people think
about programming, but there are many other ways to give back to the
community. The presentations will cover general methods such as helping with
documentation or providing bug reports. It will also cover specific ways to
volunteer to help PLUG and AZOTO.
Also this month we're planning an organizational meeting for the west side
meetings at GCC. The date hasn't yet been confirmed, please stay tuned if
you'd like to help build out a stronger west side presence for PLUG!
This month marks the 20th anniversary of the GNU Project. AZOTO is planning
a geek picnic in celebration.
Starting in February the developer meetings will be once a month. Watch for
the new night, the first Thursday of the month. Next month's presentation
will be on Eclipse.
