They were! And not that "highly modified" either. I started in 2010 with GoDaddy, and they were still deep into their fork. Their fork was actively maintained until like 2013/2014 when they started switching over to M365.

The last stable release of SquirrelMail was July 12, 2011 according to wikipedia, which was nearly 14 years ago. I hope you're not still using it or considering using it.

Hi,

Around 2006 or 2007 I had a business website hosted at GoDaddy.  I used
the cheapest web hosting. I think it was around $3.00/mo.  I exclusively
used the GoDaddy webmail which I thought was really good.

AI tells me GoDaddy was using SquirrelMail at the time,  I think it was
highly modified by GoDaddy.

Does anyone know if GoDaddy was using SquirrelMail 18-20 years ago?

Thanks!!
Keith
