Try running:
timedatectl set-ntp on
If that fails, I assume you're on a debian system, in which case you probably need to install timesyncd:
apt install systemd-timesyncd
then try running the above command again.
...additionally it says EDT; are you on the east cost? If you're in Phoenix, you should also run:
timedatectl set-timezone America/Phoenix
