I had one of the Western Digital ones go bad as soon as I tried a large rsync with it. which is odd, as I prefer WD for the HD version. The sandisk ones seem to work well.

That is about all the experience I've had with portable SSDs

I was asking about a portable HD a while ago and you said that portable HDs are crap and to get a HD cady. What about portable SSDs? Last I looked for a SSD cady I couldn't find one so is a portable SSD good when I need a new drive?
