Figured it out.

Trouble is, every time I try to boot (popOS, about to try Ubuntu) it is just a black screen.
So I get to the boot loader and add the parameter “nomodeset”.
This is great, until I run AMD’s script to install the drivers. They will cancel saying it uses KMS. But I can’t boot without that being off initially...
anyone have any suggestions?
