That should be your first sign NOT to work for them, as their software is obviously terrible, and they employ no proper technical management to see it fixed.
Flash's only good use today is as a malware runtime, much like java, only zombie enterprise software like Oracle and Cisco uses and refuses to rewrite crap old code that still uses it 15 years longer than they should have.

It might be different now, but in the past the way it got it copy of
flash was to download a full copy of chrome and pull the library out
of it, so you have to download a huge amount of data just to get
flash, but if you really want to run chromium instead of chrome,
it's the only way I know to get flash in chromium.
