Dumb question - are the permissions on the directory that chrome uses to save passwords correct for the user running chrome?  (Does it require only user access, like ssh?)

Assuming the question is why does it forget, not why can’t I make it forget….

I forgot to mention that it always asks if it should remember but when I return to the page it has forgotten it.

is there a reason why chrome stopped remembering some passwords?

Is there a way to get it to remember them again?

A mouse trap, placed on top of your alarm clock, will prevent you from rolling over and going back to sleep after you hit the snooze button.
