It is a lenovo. I went into bios and tried resetting it to default but that didn't help a bit. It opens the screen asking which os to load (sometimes) then it asks for a password. Then the os icon pops up (Linux MInt) as the os loads and finally it asks for the password again (all normal). The muse pad does not work and the keyboard is sometimes completely dead and when it is not one of the keys is stuck on. I figured out to try the wireless mouse and so I clicked the on-screen keyboard option which allows me to log in. But when I get to the os I can't press a button because it will be stuck on if I do so. As a last resort I will get a wireless keyboard/mouse and just do my best not to hit a button.... or else is there a way to deactivate the mouse from the os?

Hard to say. What sort of laptop are we talking about? -- Are you able to get into BIOs at least?

I turned the laptop on this morning and logged in. After the os loaded it was as if a key got stuck. So i did a hard reboot and after the login screen appeared nothing would type and the mouse no longer works. Is there anything I can do to fix it?
