recent vintage mac mini with 4 or 8 GB ram, Core i7 or i9, 256 GB or larger HDD/SDD and superdrive. the upper end units can run about $1,000 and are available online, or at the apple store, fry's electronics or best buy.

these are reasonably powerful units that don't use a lot of juice.
