getting there might not be as much of a problem as getting home. Transit might be available until the late hours down there, but given the amount of time it takes to get across town here on the bus, if I left late, I wouldn't make it home at all (last bus on indianschool is roughly 9:30 PM at end of line out here.

The party is a pot luck so, if you can, bring food or drinks to share with everyone. It's a holiday party, so we'll likely have tons of snacks and deserts. This presents an opportunity to bring a main course, salad or veggie side dish which is always appreciated since it is dinner time.
