There is a setting in Hugin's preferences to set where you want it's temp directory.

I want /tmp to be in my home directory because hugin fills the hard drive up when it is stitching a spherical panorama. Could someone direct me to somewhere that explains how to do it.... or else explain it to me. I didn't save the directions on putting /home on it's own partition.
