Even though you cannot unique stall the baked in apps you can "disable" them so the don't show up or run or whine for updates. I personally head for CyanogenMod for most any device.

I have tried all the steps explained by Google.
Playstore > menu > My apps & games > Bloomberg (one of the unwanted apps)
> (but there is no "uninstall" option)
Settings > General > Application manager > (the app I want to delete is
not listed there)
I keep getting update notices for several of these unwanted apps and
cannot find any way to kill them off.
