Try clicking the help ? Button then troubleshooting information. Then try the refresh Firefox button.
If that doesn't help you could rename the hidden Firefox folder in you home directory. Might be .mozilla
Maybe you could create a new user and see if that user has issues, then you know it is your profile or not.
On Linux Mint 17 Firefox 46 is crashing in numerous
situations, including even when I try to run in safe mode,
it just crashes. Everything else on my system is working
fine and the system is up to date.
I have tried reinstalling Firefox; even tried complete
uninstall and fresh install. But the problem continues t
the same.
Cannot open either extensions or add-ons because Firefox
instantly crashes.
Tried opening a private window and then I could get to
extensions and add-ons, so I disabled them all, but
when I restart Firefox, it crashes again.
Help!
