Anyways the guy I bought it from is a professor at UF. He gave me all the paperwork. Gee, I bet what I need is in the manual.

You can go to: http://www.crucial.com/

and use the "Crucial Advisor tool" to determine what your system can handle.
You'll need to know the brand and model number of your motherboard or system.
