I have been using four cheap IP cameras and a old desktop with zoneminder for over a year now.  I have seen basic IP wifi cameras for less than 40.00 ea similar to what I use.

A while ago I heard about a start up company that is building small home security tools that the geek could use for home security. It was all small parts, fairly cheap, connected to the internet, and could be monitored some how.

I don't recall if I read it online or heard it on the radio.

Anyone familiar with anything like this?
