I generally move to chrome over chromium so i can use its integrated flash. for any "desktop based system. Unless i specifically want to remove flash. for servers ill move chromium to remove any excess of plugins or roll with firefox.

Chrome: Sandboxed PPAPI (non-free) plugin included in release

Chromium: Supports NPAPI (unsandboxed) plugins, including the one from
Adobe in Chrome 34 and below
