... so I opened synaptic and found 'XFCE ...' in the package selection in the left panel and installed all the programs presented. Then I logged out/in again. Then when I clicked on the lambda I was not given the option of running xfce. Would someone tell me what I did wrong and how to make it so I can run xfce?
