what do you get when you run

apt-cache search xlibmesa-glu

The output of it might give you a clue as to what package you have to install with apt-get

This is fairly simple actually.

All you have to do is to install the following things in your Linux distro.

sudo apt-get install freeglut3
sudo apt-get install freeglut3-dev
sudo apt-get install binutils-gold

And you are done :)

Here is a sample code for you:

Save this file using name program.c and compile it using

gcc -lGL -lglut program.c -o program

And execute it using

./program

I know what they want me to do but googling it is confusing. HOw do I do this. this is what I was told to do and the result:
