what do you think.... could I install it on a windows machine then burn the resulting directory onto a DVD and copy that onto the Linux BOX?

I got a windows program I would like to use. I stick the DVD in and this is what the terminal says is on the disk:

So the instructions are inspected and it says that if the welcome screen doesn't appear to run the program setup.exe so hoping for the best I do:

bmike1@PresarioLapTop1:/media/bmike1/Berlitz$ ./setup.exe
bash: ./setup.exe: No such file or directory

Any ideas on what I could do?
(I installed an earlier version of the same program with no problems)
