Mike: imageshack.us at least used to let you upload images to their site without creating an account. I don't know if they still do that. Almost all of the links they give you after uploading will take people to some sort of frame page or ad page before the actual image. The "real" links will look something like
http://img103.imageshack.us/img103/1546/thecowhunterzx1.jpg . (silly picture of Steve Irwin as "the cow hunter")
