well, that isn't exactly what I wanted. when you click 'compose' the new mail appears with the To field active. When you type a letter it gives you a list of possibilities. PLUGS new address is not in the options. How do you get it there?
in the upper left corner of the gmail page, click on the little triangle (down arrow) next to the word Gmail. Select Contacts, find the plag discussion list entry, click on that and change the email address. If it does not autosave on you, just clclicick on SAVE. When done go back to the ipper left button and click on the arrow again to change the mode back to Gmail.

You know, gmail is great (aside from them sharing our communications with the feds) but I can't get it to remember the new address to PLUG. Any tips? I hate it that whenever I type in "p" it just gives me the option of choosing '"Main PLUG discussion list" <PLUG-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us>' and the new address isn't even a choice. It was included in the options for about a week then they took it away.---------------------------------------------------
