What I really want is some way to know what' there is to watch.
I can't say haven't been at all interested in watching spoon-fed, perpetual drivel on television for a long time, but xbmc has plugins for various tv-ish services. I got a boxee box appliance that has a plethora of options, but I never bothered to use them.
Rather most people that can download just what they want to watch via usenet, bittorrent, or ?. Shared storage and automated media harvesting, why would I? (hint: sickbeard/couchpotato/usenet, avoid torrents).

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------How do you get television on XBMC? I tried Canada on Demand and I tried
US TV Now. CoD just doesn't seem to work and you need a foreign IP for
USTN to get anything other than the basic channels. All you XBMC people
how do you do it?
