Hey John, what are the benefits of the latest kernel? Why should we install it?

Hi All,
After 7 Release Candidates the latest Linux Kernel (3.8) is available. Should you want to up-date your Kernel you can follow the install instructions here.
To check that you are running 3.8 just run this in Terminal - "uname -r" - without the quotes.
Best Regards,
John
