Okay.... i figured out the deinterlacing thing in vlc but how do I advanve the video from the first frame?
hey, the gnome movie player showed the thing with sound but at a reduced speed, and I found out what the squiggly lines are.... they are called interlacing. Can someone tell me how to get rid of it and speed up the video? I'll be flying home from Peru tonight so you won'y hear from me again until late tomorrow. It is now 00/30, the plane leaves at 0400 and I don't get back to phoenux until1600. What a long. trip. Well, in fact..... I need to go now!?:-)~MIKE~(-:?On Sat, Jan 19, 2013 at 6:15 AM, Michael Havens <bmike1@gmail.com> wrote:Good news; I figured out the cpi files aren't the videos. The videos are mts.I don't know what cpi is but they are created with each new video. That is why I thought that they were the videos. The bad news is that, while the audio is perfect the video is not. When I start the videos it is very squiggely and after like a quarter second of movement it freezes. I did google it but after wading through unrelevant information figured I would see if anyone in plug-land has a solution for this problem.
