I don't work for or contribute to Ubuntu at all and I don't mind Unity myself. More than just bear it, but maybe less than love it. I like it a whole lot better than Windows 8.

Well, I might be bias, but I'm a big fan.  I have a whole collection of indicators and HUD features along with lenses that are pretty critical to my daily workflow.  It makes me more productive.

That being said, I'm totally happy with you liking KDE, I just wanted to you know that some people love it.
