Well.... I'm going to do the windows fix.... let's reinstall it! but at least I grt yo preserve my home directory :)
Hmm there is a chance that it did not detect either well. See this bug for the bugreport as a number of people are having the same issue.

Probably a similar set of needs for the Ethernet drivers.
They might be easier to resolve.
