I guess I'm doing something wrong!
ssh 192.168.0.4 -> connection refused

then I try to ssh to the other computer and it won't accept my password. I even ran passwd to make sure I had the right pASSwd but that didn't help.

I think that is the problem! I remember having to delete a public key when I was screwing around with it last time. 
Unfortunately I do not remember where this key is.
